Since I have always received compliments about my lovely voice, I decided in 2017 to fully embrace my vocal talents while working as a public health nurse specialist. I bought some recording equipment, set up a cozy home studio, and started practicing. I experimented with voiceovers, focusing on character voices and commercials. After auditioning for a vocal animation project, I was thrilled to land the job, which officially launched my voiceover career.
Singing has always been one of my greatest passions! Growing up, I loved being part of the school choir and playing the steel pans. My vocal abilities and confidence in singing developed through participating in school musicals, and as an adult, I joined the Parchmore Gospel Choir, the Hackney Community Choir, and the well-known Gospel House Choir. I sang both Alto and Mezzo-Soprano parts, which was such a rewarding experience! Since then, I've enjoyed performing at various open mic events, sharing my love for singing with others publicly.
I am trained in advanced Animation & Lip-Sync Techniques and trained in-house with a specialised audiovisual post-production and localisation company. In addition, I am certified in musical theatre and studied at Anna Fiorentini's Stage & The City musical theatre school. Moreover, I hold a bachelor's degree in public health and a diploma in adult nursing following studies at City University.
